> AGENT ANDY
|
The business of Andrew Abrams (also known as Agent Andy) is in three parts: Licensing Agent, Career Coach, and Concept Developer.
As a Licensing Agent (with an Industrial Design background) he helps people with new product concepts and designs to fine-tune the presentation materials of their projects, find manufacturers (Licensees), present the project, negotiate the license, manage the license, and help to promote sales of the product based on the concept. Andrew performs these services either on a fee basis (the designer earns 100% of the royalty income) ...or on a partnership basis where the royalty income is shared equally. Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) are used for confidential concept reviews by Agent Andy, as well as in presentations to licensee prospects. NDAs are not used for artwork or concepts that have been shown to industry, or the public, on a non-confidential basis. As a Career and Business Coach, Mr. Abrams applies forty years of business experience to any personal or business goals of his clients. This part of the business can be divided into two types of service… by the task, or on a regularly scheduled basis. Teleconference service for quick and sharply focused career or project discussions are also offered on request. Concept development is another aspect of Andrew's business. He helps people with new product ideas to make their projects more marketable. Mechanical engineering, industrial design, product naming, package design, and merchandising ideas have been contributed by him to the concepts of others. This requires a design fee, and/or a share in the income derived from the project, if there is no fee involved. Andrew becomes a partner in the improved project, only with the written consent of his client.
You can attend one of Andrew's workshops for designers and innovators. If you cannot find a nearby workshop on our Events list, we will be happy to try to schedule a workshop in a convenient location for you. Please contact us, if you would like to propose a location and topic.
